Number one contender to be crowned on May 31st.
Since the sadistic opportunist Glen Dunbar became Pride Champion and his allies in BMW (Scott Renwick, Nikki Storm & Damian O’Conor) showed just how relentless they could be in their assault against the roster, we’ve been somewhat quiet as we let the dust settle from the event. But after lettin the news sink in and talking to several venues, we’re ready to get back on the road!
After finally defeating his old enemy Dickie Divers, Glen Dunbar stands above all others as champion of Pride. But on his quest for glory he’s made more than his fair share of enemies as he lied, cheated and betrayed the trust of his friends and colleagues as he slithered his way to the top. Especially with BMW and Nikki Storm in his corner.
We’re told that since the win Dunbar has refused to allow Divers a rematch and we’re had a long line of people begging for their chance, not only to fight for the Pride title, but to gain a measure of payback on Dunbar.
On May 31st we’ll be heading to Toryglen Community Hall as we hunt for a new number one contender. As we put on a showcase of the amazing talents of Scottish wrestling graduates, we’ll be hand picking several members of the Pride roster to fight it out for the right to be the number one contender to face Dunbar the next night on June 1st!
With so many men on the roster having a score to settle against Dunbar and the Pride title up for grabs, who can make it to the top spot and can they give us a quick end to Dunbar’s reign? Or will Dunbar and his allies show they’re stranglehold on Pride is here to stay? And after his defeat, will Dickie Divers be back strong to force his rematch for the title on the group?
Plus we’ll see more from the N7 League, the very best in womens wrestling, high flying daredevils, colourful characters and brutal heavyweights as Pride Wrestling makes a return to action!
